AGREEMENT TO LIST

The various Real Estate Organizations across the country have forms to complete and sign when you list your home with a Realtor.  These are referred to by various names but for the most part are known as Listing Agreements.

The Listing Agreement sets out the terms of your agreement with the Real Estate Brokerage including:

  • Price at which the property will be listed and advertised.

  • The period of time the listing will be active.

  • The rate of commission that the Seller will pay the Brokerage.

There are other items in the Listing Agreement and your agent will carefully go over these when your property is listed for sale.
